The 2011 CMA Awards winners had plenty to celebrate as they accepted their honors on the year’s biggest night in country music. The annual awards show, hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood — airing live from Nashville — pays tribute to the genre’s biggest stars. Choosing winners from this list of talent is no easy feat.

The event kicked off with a killer ‘Footloose’ performance from Blake Shelton and Kenny Loggins, hooking audience members and viewers at home before any winners were even revealed. The first honor of the night went to the Band Perry, who won the Single of the Year award.

Stay tuned to this page for live updates as 2011 CMA Awards winners are announced throughout the night (all nominees are listed below, and the winners names will appear in bold as they’re revealed).
