Anyone who knows me knows that I'm fascinated by space and photography. When you can combine the two I'm a goner. The U.S. Geological Survey National Center recently did just that. They captured some images of Earth from orbiting Landsat 7 and Terra satellites, then did some digital jiggery-pokery to enhance or reduce various frequencies radiation and came up with some of the most amazing images of this planet I've ever seen. Here's the story from the Daily Mail.

Enjoy!
