And the Miranda Lambert Concert Ticket Winners Are….

Earlier this week I posted a contest asking you to leave a comment telling me why you, or someone you know, deserves a pair of tickets to the Miranda Lambert Concert here in Wichita Falls...and WOW! You guys really came through and left me with nearly 600 comments to read through! And yes, I actually sat down and read through them ALL - which is why this announcement of the winners is being posted later than anticipated.

There were so many great comments and stories that I sincerely wish I could give tickets to every single one of you, but I just can't so I had to narrow it down to five. But that was too hard so I tossed in a couple extra tickets and picked seven winners instead!

So without further ado, here are the winners:

Hmmmm...Where do I start! The hubby and I have been together nearly 4 years. In those for years I went to basic after dating for 6 weeks, the went to Fort Sam Houston where I spent nearly a year in medical school training. As soon as I completed training I was on a plane overseas! Ive been home 2 years and in these past two years I've been pregnant 90% of the time. We have a almost 2 year old daughter, and a 7 month old son. I work 5am-4 or 5 pm. Sometimes 24 hour shifts! As soon as I get home, hubby is walking out the door to his evening job! To top everything off of being a full time soldier, I'm a full time mother, wife, and full time student! At nearly 24 years old I have one more year til I obtain two BS degrees :) I want to be an officer in the ARMY, and soon! Let's face it the economy is kicking our a**. lol! I don't want my kids or family to struggle like I had too! The sacrifices I make for my family and my country are well worth it though! My husband is a soldier of nearly 12 yrs, and in those years did 4 deployments! He's originally for Cost Rica, adopted a 8 years old, and has near been to a concert! Can you imagine that? He says crowds scare him! Really? I on the other hand haven't been since I was 7 or 8 years old. That's nearly 15 years! Well with everything being said, I think we deserve to spend a little quality time together and go on a date night! Alone...without the kids! As well as show my husband that concern and crowds are a good time:) Even if we aren't picked...I think it's great that y'all are giving away a handful of free tickets! That's just awesome! I'd rather right a reason, vs become crazy obsessed with trying to be caller 100 lol! Thanks again:)"

"My mother in law was in a horrible semi accident and lost both legs in October. Since that time, we had to make several trips to okc to he with her. She still isn't home and I think a night out would without three kids would be a great way to get our minds off of things!"
