On June 13, Wichita Falls Police Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 2100 11th Street (Bridwell Park) shortly after 5:30 P.M.  The 20 year old male victim was transported to United Regional Health Care Emergency Room by AMR Ambulance for a single gun shot wound.

Today (June 24) the WFPD made an arrest in connection with the Bridwell Park shooting.

22-year-old Treven Culp was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Aggravated Assault resulting from the shooting incident. Culp was arrested during a traffic stop shortly after 3:30 am this morning. During the arrest Culp was also found to be in possession of a substance believed to be Methamphetamine. Culp was arrested for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 (Methamphetamine) over 4 grams a 1st Degree Felony.

Bond on the Aggravated Assault Charge was set at $500,000.00 and Bond on the drug charge was set at $100,000.00. Culp remains in the Wichita County Jail.
