By now I'm sure you've seen trailers for the new movie, "Battle: Los Angeles", but did you know that L.A. may was approached by still unidentified aircraft during World War II? That's what the L.A. Times reported back on February 26, 1942. Read their article here.

There were several witnesses, anti-aircraft artillery was called into play and several news stories were written about the incident, but no one really seems to know what actually flew along the coast that day. Was it Japanese aircraft? Was it an extra-terrestrial visitor? Watch the video with actual news reports from 1942 and tell me what you think!

I do know that I'm glad the creative team for "Battle: Los Angeles" used it as a jumping off point and I can't wait for the movie to hit town!
