OK, I am officially excited about this show. I'd heard it was coming for some time, but now that it's just a week away I'm really getting stoked.

Beppe Gambetta will be coming to Wichita Falls next Thursday evening, March 17th, to play a benefit for Patsy's House Children's Advocacy Center. The show will be at the Forum on Speedway, which is another reason I'm looking forward to the show, I haven't been inside that building in ages!

Beppe has been in town a few times before and I've managed to catch most of the shows. I usually go home dazed and amazed wondering, "How in the world did he DO that?" There's some kind of magic in the air when you see this tall, bearded Italian playing everything from down-home American bluegrass and roots music to centuries old classical pieces. As if his musicianship weren't enough, Beppe is just as gifted as an entertainer as he is as a guitar player.

A world class musician in our own backyard, benefiting Patsy's House, what's not to love? Tickets are just $20 for General Admission ($15 for students and military), and are available at The Forum, The Kemp Center, Harvest Boutique and the Bowie Chamber of Commerce. Of course you'll also have a chance to win tickets from Lonestar 102.3 next week, too!

We might even get Beppe in the studio with me! That-a should-a be a-fun-a.

Ciao,

Dave D.
