Body Found on Wichita Falls’ East Side Identified; Homicide Investigation Underway
A Wichita Falls Police officer working security at an east side business discovered a body in a parking lot near 3rd and Lee Streets this morning.
Just before 7:00 am Thursday morning, officers were called to the parking lot of the Community Healthcare Center where the body of 31-year-old Helen Fletcher was discovered. WFPD says was the victim of a gunshot wound.
Police believe Fletcher was shot in the 400 block of 2nd Street near Michigan Ave. and then walked across the street to the Community Healthcare Center parking lot where she died.
No arrests have been made at this time.
