Bubba (From Big D and Bubba In The Morning) Wins Title Of Texoma’s Best DJ

Congratulations to Bubba, half of Lonestar 102.3's hilarious morning team, Big D and Bubba, for winning Texoma's Best DJ!

Each year the Times Record News takes votes from their readers right here in Texoma on who they think is the most outstanding representative of various fields of endeavor. Votes are taken for everything from Best Hamburger (Pat's Drive Inn) to Best Annual Event (Falls Fest) to Best Photographer (Torin Halsey from the Times Record News) to Best Live Music Venue (Iron Horse Pub) to just about everything you can have a Best of.

Once the votes are tabulated, a special section is printed and all of Texoma can see who their friends think are the best in their field. Don't bother looking for it on their website, the Times Record News does not put their special sections online.

While nobody in our office even remembers seeing the ballots, we're excited for Bubba's victory! Both Big D and Bubba get up really early in the morning to keep you company as you get ready for work, get the kids off to school, or just enjoy another cup of coffee while they chat with Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, or the random people who answer the phones in one of their laugh out loud "Really Easy Questions" segments.

Bubba (and Big D) can be heard Monday through Friday mornings from 6 to 9, and just in case you missed something (or wanted to hear it again) there's the Best of Big D and Bubba every Saturday morning on Lonestar 102.3 highlighting some of the best moments from earlier in the week.
