Charlie and Clyde – Humane Society Pets of the Week!

When pets get sick, they don’t have a way of telling you exactly what is wrong. Instead, they have their tell-tale signs, and you learn to look for them. Sure, it’s not fun to shell out money for the veterinarian, but as pet protectors it’s what we do to care for our furry friends. Yet some pets don’t have someone looking out for them, and that’s where you come in.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for a lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.

Charlie

Charlie is a large, male, grey and black shorthair tabby cat. At three-years-old, he knows how to play hard and sleep even harder. He’s a little shy at first but warms up quickly, and he loves exploring new places and finding that perfect sunny spot for a nap. He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Charlie can’t wait to find his forever home, and now is the perfect time to go introduce yourself!

Clyde

Clyde is a small, male, chocolate and tan Dachshund/Standard Smooth Haired mix. He’s eight-years-old, so he has a few years under his belt, but he’s the right fit for many households. He’s a little shy at first, but loves meeting new people and enjoys walks in the evening. He’s spayed, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Clyde is looking for a second chance in life and would be thrilled to find his forever home. Stop by to meet him!
