Charlie Daniels, Dierks Bentley, Alabama – Today In Country Music History

Charlie Daniels played for the troops in Baghdad in 2006, Dierks Bentley debuted at the Grand Ole Opry in 2003 and Alabama introduced us to an Old Flame back in 1981. It sure doesn't seem like 30 years have passed since then!

• The Charlie Daniels Band performed at Camp Liberty in Baghdad, Iraq in 2006, his final stop on a Stars For Stripes tour in which he played for U.S. soldiers in the Middle East.

• Diamond Rio became members of the Grand Ole Opry cast in 1998.
