Kidd Kraddick’s Cause of Death Released

The Jefferson Parish Coroner's Office has released the cause of Kidd Kraddick's sudden death.

According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune and NOLA.com, they are ruling Kraddick's death a result of heart disease.

Pathologists are awaiting the results of toxicology tests. Evans said the autopsy, performed Monday morning, did not turn up any other abnormalities. “Heart disease was evident,” (Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office Investigator Tommy Evans) said. — NOLA.com

53-year-old Kidd Kraddick was in New Orleans on Saturday (July 27) preparing to participate in a charity golf tournament at Timberlane Country Club. After a few practice swings, he became ill. He was rushed to Ochsner Medical Center-West Bank Hospital, losing consciousness on the way and was pronounced dead at the facility.

This morning during the live tribute show, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning co-host Kellie Rasberry said that Kidd was not feeling well before the charity golf tournament.
