A driver in Oregon found out the hard way that when his dog wants to play, it's not always at the most opportune time.

The 32-year-old driver was trying to hide a sock in his pickup when his pitbull decided it was time to play. The dog took the sock into his mouth and then proceeded to play a game of tug-of-war. The driver finally got the sock out of the dog's mouth, only to have it fly out the window. That's when a sheriff's deputy pulled the man over.

It wasn't just any old sock that the pitbull had been playing with. This one happened to be stuffed with marijuana and hashish.

The dog won the tussle and tossed the sock out the window, and the 32-year-old driver was indicted on drug possession charges. Sheriff Brad Lohrey says he wished everyone traveled with their own personal drug dog.

My cat has irritated me countless times. In fact, while writing this, she approached me and meowed, clawed my leg, then stalked out of the room. I can't recall her actually getting me into trouble, though. I guess when you take your pet with you on your outings, you may want to consider what kind of trouble he or she may get you into.

Good boy.
