A fire destroyed a portion of Ashley Furniture Home Store early Sunday morning.  Units from Wichita Falls and Sheppard AFB responded to the blaze at around 6:15am Sunday morning.  It took firefighters about one hour to get the three alarm blaze under control.  One firefighter did suffer minor injuries in the blaze.  He was treated and released from United Regional.  No other injuries were reported.

Damage estimates as of Sunday afternoon were at $300,000.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.  This is the second time fire has damaged the store.  A fire in December of 2012 was put out by the buildings sprinkler system, but left the store closed for several weeks for repairs.
