Some will call it a breakthrough in science. Others will call it playing god. Either way, thanks to science, fish may soon have the ability to move freely on land.

The process involves using cameras and computer vision software. The cameras view how the fish moves and if it swims towards something, the movements control a radio controlled car attached to the tank. If the fish sees an interesting object, it just goes in that direction and the entire tank moves with it. Here's video of a prototype in action.

Now while this may seems all good and fun, I fear that we may be getting ourselves into something much deeper and darker than imaginable. For all our lives, humans have been superior to fish and safe from them as long as we remained on land. Even a deadly piranha couldn't attack a human if we weren't walking in the water.

These new mobile fish are harnessing the powers of computers and technology. Yes, they only can move around like a gerbil in a ball now, but what about when they decide they want more. Could the tanks be weaponized. Could we have fish running amuck down the streets shooting lasers at everyone who has ever eaten at a sushi restaurant?

Don't think that I'm just being crazy. If a fish had the chance to eat you, don't think for one second that it would pass up the chance. And don't forget about our pets. Cats and fish have never gotten along. When fish can chase down a cat, nothing will stop them. As you see in this video, they already are trying to attack cats any chance they get.

Take this as a warning. This may only be step one, but the eventual overthrow of the human race by fish will someday historically be traced back to this very discovery. Thanks, Science, we are now all doomed. Your best bet for survival...start growing gills!
