Country stars like Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker and Chris Young jumped at the chance to wish George Strait a Happy Birthday!

The King turns 65 years old on Thursday (May 18), and no shortage of country stars took a turn wishing him well or saying thank you for being an influence. Rascal Flatts shared a personal memory. Lambert told Strait to say hello to their shared home state. Trent Tomlinson, Billy Currington and Aaron Watson are three more who wished the country legend a Happy Birthday.

Strait's long run in country music has stretched across four decades, with few acts being more reliable on stage and on the radio. His Strait to Vegas showcase in Las Vegas will continue this summer with the singer performing 60 of his No. 1 hits across two nights. The next show is July 28-29, with additional dates in September and December. Cam will open all shows.

While he's technically retired from the road, Strait has continued to release new music. Cold Beer Conversation was his most recent release, but he's shown no signs of slowing down. He's even hinted that he'll play additional cities in the future even if it seems like his tour bus is parked for good.
