Gretchen and Biscuit – Humane Society Pets of the Week!

Pets are a part of our lives forever. Long after they're gone, we still tell stories about them and remember them fondly. Sometimes it's a tale about how Fido used to always get in the trash, yet we find that we're smiling even when we recall those times when our pets may have been acting up. This week I was reminiscing about a former pet of mine, and I realized that it's been nearly a decade since he passed, yet I feel as though he was in my life just moments ago. Pets enrich our lives in so many ways. Some pets don't have a home to enrich, and that's where you come in.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for an lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.

Gretchen

Gretchen is a smaller size, adult, femal tabby cat. She's got a lot of love to give and loves snuggling in a warm nap. She's spayed, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Gretchen may be a little shy at first but she warms up quickly, and she loves to get to know people, especially those who will give her a scratch behind the ears!

Biscuit

Biscuit is a small, young, male Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. He's bashful at first but he warms up quickly and loves giving people attention as much as he likes getting attention. He's nuetered, up-to-date on his shots, microchipped, and heartworm tested and on preventative. Biscuit doesn't take up my room on the couch, but he'll definitely take up a lot of room in your heart. Stop by to meet him today!
