  • Gretchen Wilson received the key to the city of her hometown of Pocahontas, Illinois in 2005.
  • John and Martina McBride had their third daughter, Ava Rose KathleenMcBride, in 2005.
  • George Jones & Tammy Wynette‘s One album, their first duet collection in 15 years, was released in 1995.
  • Jimmy Buffett‘s Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes album was certified gold in 1977.
  • Bill Anderson‘s first Top 10 single, “Tip of My Fingers,” charted in 1960.
