When looking at the cinematic measuring stick that is Rotten Tomatoes, how many of your favorite Christmas movies would even be "Certified Fresh"?

Lately, the "Certified Fresh" stamp seems to be the new bragging rights in Hollywood, telling potential movie ticket buyers that the movie was well received by critics. But its not necessarily the indicator of a beloved movie. Recently we looked a group of films that, though popular in pop culture, do not carry the "Certified Fresh" honors. On that list was a true Christmas classic, so it got us wondering how other Christmas favorites fared in the eyes of Rotten Tomatoes.

For this we've selected thirty Christmas films based on previous posts in the website's history and the general popularity and notoriety of the films as Christmas movies. Of these thirty, only nine are considered "Certified Fresh". So much for that being an indicator of quality.

What movie's score most surprised you? Do you have a favorite Christmas movie that wasn't included? Let us know in the comments!
