Brothers Osborne’s John Osborne and wife Lucie Silvas should have been spending their New Year’s Eve blowing horns and drinking champagne. Instead, they spent the holiday worried sick after finding out their their beloved dog Barley had run away from Osborne’s brother TJ’s house.

And the worst part was…they were thousands of miles away in New Zealand, and couldn't do a thing.

Luckily, Barley was eventually found. And when Osborne and Silvas returned from their overseas adventure, they decided that they just had to address Barley’s adventure that occurred when they were away.

"You know, it's not that your father and I don't trust you, it's just that you're at that age where you could be easily influenced by things," Silvas explained in a video shared on her Twitter page earlier this month.

"You didn't call us, text us, anything..we were petrified!" adds Osborne, who married Silvas back in 2015.

As Silvas went on expressing her concern, the camera panned over at Barley looking like she was intently listening but not quite understanding why her mom and dad looked a tad miffed.

Hopefully, Barley will be on her best behavior moving forward, as her parents have a very busy 2019 ahead of them. Not only will Silvas head out on tour with Miranda Lambert’s old flame Anderson East (his trek starts next month), but John will also be hitting the road with his brother on a much anticipated headlining tour later this year.

Brothers Osborne is also currently up for two Grammys for “Best Country Album” for Port Saint Joe and “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” for “Shoot Me Straight.”
