Country vet Keith Urban transformed the 2014 CMA Awards into a rock show for three minutes while he performed his undeniably catchy hit ‘Somewhere in My Car’ on Wednesday (Nov. 5) night.

The stage was a sleek black set streaming with LEDs, and Urban’s vintage v-neck and black jacket fit right in. Urban stood center stage with the band significantly further behind him, giving him all the room in the world to exhibit his rock star qualities.

Urbans’ vocals were, as usual, on point, not to mention his skillful guitar solo. The singer/songwriter once again displayed his unmatched ability to mesh country, pop and rock together and get everyone up on their feet.

'Somewhere in My Car' is Urban's fourth single from the CMA nominated 'Fuse' album. The singer is nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year and won Music Video of the Year earlier.
