Lauren Alaina is all about lifting others up in the emotionally powerful lyric video for her new single, "Doin' Fine."

Alaina wrote the song, which is the third single from her current album, Road Less Traveled, about a terribly complicated situation in her family when her father sought treatment for alcoholism, her parents divorced and her mom ended up marrying her dad's friend, while her father married a woman who is just a few years older than Alaina.

"I’m doin’ fine enough to know that everyone’s a little broken / Fine enough to learn that hearts are best when they’re wide open / I still got fear inside of me, I’m not okay but I’m gonna be alright / For the first time, in a long time, I’m doin’ fine / I’m doin’ fine," she sings in the chorus.

The "Doin' Fine" lyric video shares footage of a wide diversity of other people going through and overcoming their own struggles.

"Everyone's a little broken. We all have a story. It deserves to be told, heard, and respected. This song isn't just about my story. It's for all our stories. Check out the lyric video for #DoinFine. I'm super proud of this one," Alaina shares on Facebook, adding a heart emoji.

The title song from Road Less Traveled gave Alaina her first No. 1 hit in May. Alaina calls the album "brutally honest," telling Taste of Country that she had plenty of inspiration for new songs.

"I always joke and say that I literally live a country song, which works out for me because I write them for a living," she says with a laugh. "So I have an entire album full of what happened to me over the last few years."
