When you're a big star like Miranda Lambert, giving your real name at a place like Starbucks will bring a lot of attention. That's why the country hitmaker uses an alias.

"Sometimes I say Miranda sometimes I say something else," Lambert admits during an interview on the Bobby Bones Show. But the singer wasn't eager to spill her fake name.

"Can't tell you because then everybody will know!" she says in the above video clip, smiling. "It used to be Tara Dactyl but then people found out. I used to be Tara Dactyl, that was my alter-ego when I would get a little too much whiskey in me."

Adds the singer, "And now I've changed my dinosaur to T-Ran. See what I did there?"

Lambert will need all of the coffee she can get to keep up the momentum this year. She's got shows scheduled all summer, including a headlining stop at the 2017 Taste of Country Music Festival in New York in June. She's on her Highway Vagabond Tour through October, hitting several U.S. states and even jetting across the pond for shows in the U.K.

Her The Weight of These Wings album was released last fall.
