Nella and Second Chance – Humane Society Pets of the Week!

As one of our cats gets older, he makes a bigger production out of getting attention. He won’t just walk up to us and wait to get petted, he’ll walk up to us, meow very loudly as though he was yelling, and then waits for the coming scratch. Of course we humor him, he’s pretty hard to ignore. Even though it’s annoying at times, he’s an awesome pet and a fantastic television-watching companion. Some pets don’t have a family to meow at or bark at, and that’s where you come in.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Nella

Nella is a small, young, female tabby cat. She’s just over a year old so she has a bit of that cat maturity but still loves to play and have fun. She likes being around other pets, sitting in warm sunny spaces, toys filled with catnip, and getting attention. She’s spayed, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Nella has a lot of personality and loves meeting new people. Make plans to swing by to meet her today!

Second Chance

Second Chance is a young, medium sized, male Labrador retriever mix. He’s just under a year old so he still has a lot of energy for play, but he also knows how to enjoy a great nap. He loves taking walks, being around people and other dogs, and especially likes the game of fetch. He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots and heartworm tested and on preventative.
