New Beer Prevents Hangovers

Man, I love science! Scientist just keep coming up with new ways to make our lives better. Like the latest scientific discovery, a beer that prevents hangovers!  Yes, you read that correctly. Scientist have now created a beer that contains electrolytes so that you get hydrated while you drink it.  The team, out of Australia, says that the number 1 cause of a hangover is dehydration, so by adding electrolytes it's counterbalancing the effect.

I love this story for 2 reasons.

1) I imagine that one day in Australia there was a scientist who had had a few too many the night before, walked into his lab feeling a bit queasy, and said "We have to fix this!"

and 2) Whenever I hear about Electrolytes I just think of the movie Idiocracy
