Nurse Aids Man Discovered Shot Outside Her Texas Residence

A local nurse became an unexpected hero when she stumbled upon a man who had been shot outside her Spring, Texas residence.

Wow, this story seems like it's straight out of a movie!  And this movie would have gone very differently if it had starred me instead of this woman.

The Chilling Encounter

So this lady is chilling at her house when she notices a car speeding down her residential road.  Because she lives on a cul-de-sac, she knows the car will have to turn around and come back her way.  She decides to walk out to the road and tell him to slow down.

From Healing Hands to Lifesaving Heroics

The man sees her and stops, informs her that he's been shot, and asks if she can help.  Turns out she's a nurse and a veteran. While she's tending to his leg wound, he explains that he met some guys down the road in order to sell them a phone, and they shot him. The man then says that they might try to come after him.

Unbelievable Reaction

This is where the movie would have gone very differently if it were me. I don't trust strangers. I'd ask questions.

Why did y'all meet at the end of my street?

How do I know you didn't attack them first and they had to shoot you to escape?

Is any of this true at all?

But not this woman. She takes that story as the truth and immediately springs into action.  She tells him to drag himself into her house, while she hides his car in her garage. Straight up something that I thought would only happen in a movie.

Hero?

Many in the comments section of the video below say she is a hero.  Many say she should have used a little more precaution, especially since her daughters were in the house.  Must have been something in his eyes, I don't know, I wasn't there.
