Mitch Hedberg, my favorite comedian, once said,

My apartment is infested with Koala bears. It's the cutest infestation ever.

Well, if Mitch was right, then this must be the second cutest infestation.  In Maricopa County, Arizona, the streets are becoming overrun with packs of wild chihuahuas. Animal control has reported more than 6000 calls in the last year about the animals.

They say that the dogs are running in packs of up to 15 at a time. They are creating problems not just because of chasing and possibly biting people, but also because nobody wants to be responsible for picking up their poop.

Animal Control has asked for citizens help in catching the animals. They told ABC 15 that they need people to not just call when they see the dogs, but to try to contain them in their yards until they can get there to help.
