Payton and Raymond – Humane Society Pets of the Week!

It seems like I’ve always lived with an animal in my home. From the time I was young my parents had dogs in the house, and as an adult I’ve always had either a dog or a cat. There’s something comforting about an animal being there to greet you when you come home from work or a furry friend cuddled up next to you when you wake in the morning. Animals are a great addition to one’s home. Some animals don’t have a place to call their own, or someone to snuggle up with at night, and that’s where you come in.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for a lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.

Payton

Payton is a small, young, female, short-haired domestic cat. She’s calico in color and at about six months, she has a lot of energy. She likes to play hard, but she also likes to sleep hard. She’s very friendly and isn’t bashful, and would make a great addition to your household. She’s up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Payton would love for you to swing by and play with her, and she won’t disappoint!

Raymond

Raymond is a small, adult, male terrier mix. He loves playing fetch and going on walks, and warms up to people pretty quickly. He’s 3-years-old, so he still has some of that puppy spunk, but knows how to calm down and be an adult. He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Raymond wants a second chance at a forever home and can’t wait to meet you, so stop by today!
