Robot Solves Any Rubiks Cube In Under 1 Second [VIDEO]

We all know it's only a matter of time before the robots take over. Now it's one step closer. Scientist have developed a robot that can solve any combination on a Rubiks Cube in under 1 second.  Now to be fair, this robot still requires human intervention. The cube itself has to be scanned so it knows what moves need to be made. Also the cube has special indentations for the machine to hold it. Still, once robots learn how to entertain themselves with human novelties from the 80's, what's really holding them back?
