As promised, Sugarland are returning to Indiana for a show in honor of the seven killed and dozens injured when the stage collapsed before an August show at the Indiana State Fair. Friday night’s concert at the Conseco Fieldhouse will benefit the Indiana State Fair Remembrance Fund.

Actress Rita Wilson and Indiana-based singer-songwriter Corey Cox will open the free show. IndyStar.com reports that all tickets have already been distributed through Ticketmaster. Fans are being asked to donate to the relief fund that’s already raised $1 million for the friends and family of those killed and the 40 injured.

Wilson is the wife of actor Tom Hanks. Recently, she’s appeared in films like ‘Larry Crowne’ and ‘Old Dogs,’ but she is working on a debut album of pop and folk-rock songs called ‘AM/FM’ that will be released in February.

The concert will wrap up Sugarland’s Incredible Machine Tour. It’s not clear when the duo will also be holding a private memorial for the victims and their families, or if they already have. In a statement shortly after the Aug. 13 tragedy occurred, the band said that would be a top priority after everyone had a chance to mourn privately.
