Wichita Falls Police received a tip on Tuesday that a man wanted for parole violations was at a home on Taylor Street. Officers arrived in time to see a white Hyundai Sonata leaving the residence. When officers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver tried sped up and tried to evade officers.

The driver lost control in the 1000 block of E. Wenonah and jumped a curb. Both the driver and passenger jumped from the still-moving vehicle and tried to flee on foot. The car struck a house on E. Wenonah. After a short foot chase police arrested 31 year-old Raymondo Acuna and 20 year-old Felicia Lytle.  The house suffered minor damage and no one in the residence was injured.

A search of the vehicle turned up a shotgun. Acuna was arrested and charged with evading arrest in a vehicle, evading arrest on foot, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and for parole violations. Lytle was arrested and charged with evading arrest.

According to the Wichita County Sheriff’s Office, Lytle is also held for bond revocation-possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bonds totaled $22, 495. Acuna’s bonds totaled $35,000.

As of Wednesday afternoon, both remained in the Wichita County Jail.
