This is Why Museums Say Not To Touch Things [VIDEO]
There's a great episode of 'How I Met Your Mother' where Barney and Robin go around touching everything they can at the Natural History Museum. While it didn't turn out too bad for them in the show, doing it in real life could get you in a lot of trouble. One man found this out the hard way, and the whole thing was caught on security camera footage.
The whole thing went down at the National Watch and Clock Museum, in Columbia, Pennsylvania. A man decided to touch a priceless clock hanging on the wall. There's a reason those warning signs are in place, because soon the man found himself trying to catch the clock as it fell.
The video was posted online by an employee of the museum. They also said, This is why we beg and plead with our visitors to please refrain from touching objects in museums.'
Obviously, the man is going to be pretty embarrassed as this video of him goes viral. The real question is, is it more embarrassing to have broken the clock, or to be caught on film spending time at a watch and clock museum?
