After weeks of anticipation, Tim McGraw has finally announced that his new single from his forthcoming new album will be released next week. On July 3, ‘Truck Yeah’ is set impact country radio coast-to-coast. The new tune will be McGraw’s Big Machine Records debut after parting ways with long-time label Curb Records last year.

Many fans have already had the chance to hear the new song, as McGraw has been closing out his show with the sure-fire hit since opening night of the Brothers of the Sun Tour (also featuring Kenny Chesney). YouTube instantly lit up with fan-captured videos of the fired-up tune, and McGraw has been encouraging fans to use the hashtag ‘#truckyeah’ as often as possible when on Twitter, making the phrase become one of the most-used tag lines recently on the social media website.

“We have been unbelievably excited about ‘Truck Yeah’ since the first show of the summer when we played it live for the first time,” says McGraw. “I’m really happy that radio and the fans will have access to it so soon.”

“His new music is amazing, and he’s completely amped and engaged,” adds Big Machine Label Group President/CEO Scott Borchetta. “People are saying they’ve never seen Tim so happy and excited, and that happiness and excitement are contagious. Here we go!”

‘Truck Yeah’ was penned by Chris Lucas and Preston Brust of the LoCash Cowboys, along with Chris Janson and Danny Myrick. The tune was produced by McGraw and his long-time producer, Byron Gallimore.
