Tim McGraw is once again working with a renowned movie director, but it's not to return to acting. The singer is teaming up with Oscar-nominated 'Moneyball' director Bennett Miller for an installment of the 'American Express Unstaged' series.

“We got together in Nashville out at my farm last week,” McGraw explains on his website. “We just got to know each other a bit and drove around the farm in my old Jeep. We started talking about the intimacy of the Elvis comeback special from 1968. We both really like and connected with that concept, visually. I’m a huge fan of his work, and I can’t wait to see how this all comes together.”

McGraw's show will stream from New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on Sept. 16, which coincides with the release of his highly anticipated upcoming album, 'Sundown Heaven Town.'

Other artists who have taken part in the 'American Express Unstaged' series include Sugarland, Kenny Chesney, Pharrell Williams, Kings of Leon, Usher, Jack White and Coldplay.

Tickets to see the show in person are available here. The concert will stream at 9 PM ET here.
