Police have arrested 28 year-old Rachel Jean Stevens and 25 year-old Kayla Ann Jones. Both are charged with child abuse by injury and child neglect.

The child was later airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where it was discovered the child was suffering from multiple broken bones in various stages of healing. It was also discovered that child had been so severely beaten and was so malnourished he had suffered at least two strokes. Tulsaworld.com reports that at least one of the child’s hands was hit with a hammer and Jones kicked the child in the groin. Stevens is apparently the child’s mother. Two other children in the home were removed by social services.
