Wichita Falls singer/songwriter Tyler Steel and his band were involved in a bad wreck Wednesday night (7/6).

Tyler and the band are currently on a southern radio tour promoting their new album 3rd Gear and were in Hot Springs, Arkansas when the accident happened.

A photo of the wreckage was posted to the band's official Facebook page at 10:30 pm Wednesday with the caption, "Good night turned bad."

"We had just got done with a meeting with radio tour personnel and five minutes later this happened," said Dillon Pirkle, guitarist for the band. "A guy pulled out in front of us and failed to yield crossing the intersection and we hit him HARD." Dillon continued.

All 5 members of the band and three others where in the tour van when it smashed into the other vehicle. Thankfully, everyone involved in the wreck walked away with no serious injuries.

Tyler and Dillon are continuing on to the next two stops on their radio tour in a rented U-Haul truck. They hit the road for Louisiana today and then on to Mississippi tonight. The rest of the guys will meet Tyler and Dillon back in Nashville on Friday for a show at Nashville Speedway Race Day on Saturday, July 9.

Dillon says there should be a new van ready for them in Nashville to continue on the next 2 weeks of their radio tour.

Last year, Tyler Steel and the guys stopped by the Blake FM studios and performed an awesome acoustic version of their song 'This Town' on our roof. Check out that video below.
