St. Patrick's Day is on Monday the 17th, but the biggest and best holiday celebration in Texoma is this Saturday. Make plans to head to downtown Wichita Falls for the St. Patrick's Day Downtown Street Festival.

Ann Arnold, from KFDX and Wichita Falls Downtown Proud, took a few minutes to talk to Drew about this weekend's festivities. Gates will be open at 4:30 on Saturday on the corner of 8th and Indiana. Music will kick off with Irish folk singer Martin Byrnes.

Following that, Cody Canada and the Departed will take the stage. The former lead singer  of the red dirt band Cross Canadian Ragweed and his new crew will perform songs from the 20 year Cross Canadian Ragweed collection as well as new songs, blending country, rock, and blues.

The evening ends with headliners Blue October. Currently on The Sway Tour, the alternative rock band will play songs from their new album, 'Sway,' and you will definitely be hearing their chart-topping hits 'Hate Me' and 'Into The Ocean.'

Advance tickets are on sale now at  Sheppard Air Force Base, Market Street, United, The Iron Horse Pub, the Downtown Wichita Falls Development office or online. Advance tickets cost $15 for general admission with a student and military discount price of $12. Prices will increase to $20 and $15, respectfully,  day of show. Children 12 and under get in free and for $5 can get unlimited access to all the bounce houses and the sensory board.

It's going to be a fun, family friendly event you don't want to miss out on. There's music for just about every style, beer for the adults, games for the kids, and plenty of Irish spirit for you to enjoy.
