The Wichita County Sheriff’s Office and the Wichita County District Attorney’s Drug Division executed a search warrant at the High Point Apartments on Professional Drive at 5:45 am Thursday.  Deputies entered through the front door after deploying a ‘flash/bang’ device.

Once inside, officers found approximately ten pounds of marijuana, over one ounce of cocaine and over four grams of meth.  Officers arrested a white female and a Hispanic male.  Wichita County Sheriff David Duke says the male is a VC gang member and officers found “plenty of evidence of distribution”.  The names and ages of the suspects will likely be released later today.

This bust comes on the heels of an even larger bust on Wednesday.  At around 9:30 AM Wednesday, a Wichita County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Kell East at Allendale Road.  Deputies and officers from the Wichita County Drug Task Force discovered over 32 pounds of marijuana inside a door panel of the suspect’s vehicle.  Officers took a 27 year-old male and a 19 year-old male into custody.  Both suspects were from El Paso.
