Wichita Falls Police arrested a burglary suspect early Saturday morning. At around 1 am Saturday, police attempted to stop the man while he was seen walking in the middle of the road on 32nd street. The man was carrying several large bags of property. Police say the area has had numerous residential burglaries reported.

The man ran from police but was apprehended after a brief foot chase and was taken into custody at 32nd Street and Jacksboro Highway. 41 year-old Samuel Brian Esquibel was arrested on charges of evading arrest or detention, parole violation, burglary and criminal trespass. Esquibel was in the Wichita County Jail as of Tuesday morning held on a combined $5,850 bond.
