Wichita Falls Police Investigate Drive By Shooting

Wichita Falls Police are investigating two drive-by shootings in less than five hours overnight at the same apartment complex.

Police received a 9-1-1 call of shots fired at approximately 1:30 AM Monday morning at the Maurine Street Apartments. The suspect had fled by the time police arrived.

Officers responded to anther call at the same complex at 6:00 AM. No injuries were reported in either shooting.

Witnesses told officers on the scene that a black Trans Am was in the area and the shooter may have fired from the car.
