Almost all of us have played with LEGOs at one time or another. Those colorful plastic bricks can be assembled into all sorts of objects. In celebration of the 80th birthday of the LEGO group, some enterprising folks at LEGO Korea decided to set the world record for the tallest LEGO tower. The old record was 31.6 meters.

It took somewhere between 450 and 500 thousand bricks, five days, several support cables and a really tall bucket lift but they did it. The new record is 31.9 meters. That's 104 feet, 7.90 inches.

Congratulations!
