When looking back at the country, Americana, bluegrass and folk albums released in 2019, there's really been something for pretty much everyone. Maren Morris and Luke Combs followed up their groundbreaking mainstream debuts with quality material, Tanya Tucker requested and received proverbial flowers for the year's best comeback story, the Highwomen redesigned superstar collaborations and decade-defining stars Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean added to their legacies.

While the aforementioned acts' albums will rightly make numerous year-end lists alongside other Nashville stars (Jon Pardi, for example) and Americana upstarts (see: Yola), these five less-obvious releases also deserve consideration when expanding your personal Top 10 of the year.
