Blake Shelton and girlfriend Gwen Stefani spent their Valentine's Day together at a high-profile pre-Grammys gala thrown by music industry icon Clive Davis, getting cozy enough to let everyone know how happy they are together.

Stefani was seen sitting in Shelton’s lap at their table during the event, which was held in salute to industry icons, honoring Irving Azoff, a well known manager in the business. Though they graced the pre-ceremony event together, they were missing from the red carpet at the Grammy Awards Monday night (Feb. 15).

Shelton and Stefani have become a hot topic since news of their relationship broke last fall following Shelton’s split with Miranda Lambert in the summer. The pair met as coaches on NBC’s The Voice, which enters its 10th season in late February. Though Stefani will not be returning as a coach this season — Christina Aguilera will be in her place — she has officially signed on to be an advisor for Team Blake in Season 10.

“We know we collaborate well together as coaches, so of course I would have her as my mentor, and she’s so smart and talented!” Shelton tells People.

Shelton is not only gearing up for The Voice, but his new music, as well. The artist says his forthcoming album will be a very personal set of songs in light of the events of the past year, and he can’t wait to get the new tunes out there.

"It’s driving me nuts to not be already into that project because it’s all I’m thinking about,” he says. “I’m doing what I’m supposed to do, and that’s put all I’ve gone through and put it into music, and I never felt more connected to a record before. When people hear this record, they may not know what happened to me, but they’re gonna know how I felt about it. And that’s exciting for me, to just lay it out there for people.”
