Car Hits Bystander During Illegal Texas Street Race

Someone call The Avengers, I think we've got a new superhero in town. The man in the video at the bottom of this article takes a car head-on and just stands up and dusts himself off like nothing happened. Let's break down the footage.

Illegal Street Race in Texas Ends with Bystander Hit

As the video opens, we see a couple of cars on a street in Houston, Texas, taking off for an illegal street race. Most of the folks watching the race are standing back behind the start line, but one rascal can be seen out in front of the cars on the far side of the street, across from the camera.

As the cars reach the man, he tries to jump out of the way, but it's too late. He ends up flipping up into the air, feet over head. He then comes crashing down on his head. It appears as if he is dead.

But no, sir! This man jumps up, dusts himself off, and starts running down the road. At first, it's tough to tell why he is running, but then the camera pans back to the starting line, where we see a cop car flashing its lights while everyone else runs away.

Oh, and then someone sets a firecracker off right by the police cruiser. 'Murica!
