We all know that country music can't stay away from a good love story, and Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have offered fans just that through the course of their relationship. The two have weathered a few storms, and celebrated plenty of happy moments, too, during their decade-plus together.

The country superstar met the former NHL hockey player backstage at one of her concerts in 2008, and after a whirlwind romance -- during which Fisher popped the question in December of 2009, only a year after meeting the "Smoke Break" singer -- the couple was married two years later, on July 10, 2010. The pair wed in a very Southern ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Greensboro, Ga., in front of a group of country's biggest stars, including Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

The Oklahoma native and her Canadian stud became a threesome with the birth of their son, Isaiah Michael Fisher, on Feb. 27, 2015. They welcomed their second child, another boy, named Jacob Bryan Fisher, in January of 2019 -- but not before experiencing incredible heartbreak. Underwood suffered a series of miscarriages in 2017 and early 2018, channeling her despair into her music and changing her relationship with her faith.

"I had always been afraid to be angry, because we are so blessed ... And I'm like, 'If we can never have any other kids, that's okay because [Isaiah is] amazing, and I have this amazing life.' Really, what can I can complain about? ... And I got mad," Underwood shares. "For the first time, I feel like I actually told God how I felt, and I feel like we're supposed to do that."
