Tennessee native Chris Young lived a personal dream come true when he made his debut headlining his hometown digs—Nashville's Bridgestone Arena—Saturday night (Sept. 22). And while the singer was undeniably pumped up for the entire sold-out show, things rose to a fevered pitch when he was joined on stage by none other than Brad Paisley.

The pair teamed up for a spirited duet of Paisley's 2007 hit, "I'm Still a Guy," and their trading off of the comedic verses clearly delighted the audience.

Paisley took to social media to express his happiness at being part of his friend's special night headlining the arena: "That feller right there’s one of the finest people to ever make music in Nashville," he observed. "And he knocked it out of the park tonight! I’m so proud to be your friend and thanks for letting me be a part of it."

The date was part of Young's 2018 Losing Sleep Tour, and it's one he's been thinking about for quite a while. As he told Taste of Country last month: "That show is certainly going to be right up there in terms of one of my biggest career accomplishments. Even when we booked it, I was thinking about what it was going to look like.”

Fans likely agree things are looking good all around. The tour extends all the way through Dec. 8, and Young is joined on the trek by openers Dan + ShayMorgan Evans and Dee Jay Silver, and his Nashville show on Saturday also included Kane Brown.
