Chris Young’s Next Album Has a Collaboration With Kane Brown
Chris Young has revealed a sneak peek into his new album, which features a special guest that is sure to get fans talking.
In a recent Instagram video clip Young shared on May 10, he reveals that Kane Brown will have his vocals featured on a song.
There's a little catch: Unfortunately, Young was touring overseas and could not be there to observe Brown cut his vocals in person. But not to worry; Brown is a pro. His team sent Young a video message joking about how good the song is, with Brown even gushing in the comments about how excited he is to be a part of it.
Brown and Young have been buddies for a long time, being label mates on Sony Music Nashville. They have even collaborated before on Brown's 2016 release "Setting The Night on Fire." Brown also joined Young on his Losing Sleep World Tour. They're so close that Young even attended Brown's wedding last October!
The new collaboration will be on Young's upcoming album, Raised On Country, which is the follow up to his 2017 album Losing Sleep. His eighth studio album does not have a release date just yet, however.
During a press conference, Young shares that the album will not be focused on love songs. In fact, only two songs will be dedicated to that emotion. "The two love songs that are really straight, no-question love songs were actually [written by other songwriters]," Young says.
