So a cowboy walks into King Arthur's Pub in Beaumont, Texas, with his horse. No, this isn’t the start of some old joke. It really happened. Someone caught it on video and posted it online, and it's just the best. The cowboy, wearing jeans, boots, and a wide-brimmed hat, casually walked into the bar as if this was totally normal. Right behind him? His horse, following along like it had done it a hundred times before.

South Texas Bar Gets Surprise Horse Visit

Look, we're known for doing things our own way here. In many rural areas, cowboys still ride horses, work cattle, and live lives that seem like you would think they do. While most of the world drives cars and scrolls through smartphones, some Texans still hold on to traditions that go way back. I'm not so sure we need to be allowing livestock into places where you consume beverages, though. It's all fun and games until Seabiscuit drops a duece on the pool table.

Now, to be fair, bringing a horse into a bar probably breaks a few health codes. And animal control might not be too happy about it. But the way people responded shows that this wasn’t about rules. It was about culture.
