From 7 to 9 p.m. every 2nd and 4th Wednesday, local DJ Mayde Day transforms the Stone Oven Pizza into a buzzing, bass-thumping dance floor. With a curated blend of old-school favorites and fresh hip-hop tracks, he sets the rhythm for an evening that feels more like a neighborhood block party than a typical night out.

Dance Nights at Stone Oven Pizza Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday

If he looks familiar, that's because you can catch DJ Mayde Day delivering you the weather on KFDX Channel 3 as his alter ego, John Cameron. As you can see from the picture, not only does John play the best mix of Hip-Hop and R&B from multiple decades, but he also pairs the music with laser lights and smoke effects that dazzle the senses.

The wings, by the way, go for just $1 each during the event. These are not tiny, little drums and flappers, by the way. The are some of the meatiest wings I've ever had, and you can choose from a variety of sauces. My two favorites are the Hot BBQ and Honey Siracha.

Booty Shaking Wednesdays at Stone Oven Pizza

Stone Oven Pizza is usually pretty chill, but on these nights, it gets loud, fun, and full of energy. There's no dress code, no pressure, just music, food, and good vibes.

So if you're in Wichita Falls on a Wednesday and hear music bumping from a pizza spot, now you know why. Come for the wings, stay for the beats, and maybe even show off your dance moves.
