Family Fun with Free Dinosaur Sculptures in Texas
Man, my parents drove my brother and me through this when we were kids, and we absolutely loved it. Just outside Glen Rose, Texas, a bunch of massive dinosaur sculptures are waiting to be discovered. The best part is, it’s totally free to check them out. You can also check out a video featuring these bad boys for free by scrolling to the bottom of this article.
These life-sized dinos are set up in an open area right by the road. They’re huge, super detailed, and perfect for exploring with friends or family. You can walk right up to them, take pictures, and imagine what it would be like if dinosaurs were still roaming around.

Glen Rose already has a reputation as the “Dinosaur Capital of Texas” thanks to the fossilized tracks nearby, but these sculptures are more of a laid-back, surprise find. You don’t need to book tickets or follow a tour. Just show up with those little rugrats and let them run amok!
