A Texas family became heroes overnight as they rescued a driver trapped in a flooded underpass in Conroe, Texas during Tuesday's relentless storms.

The video at the bottom of this article is now making the rounds on social media, and it showcases the incredible bravery and selflessness of this awesome family.

Family Takes Action

As the video opens, we see a maroon pickup truck lodged underneath an overpass with flood water filling the bed of the truck, quickly reaching the height of the windows. We hear a woman's voice ask if breaking the windshield is the best option to try and rescue the person trapped in the vehicle.


A Man With Tools

We then see the husband, brandishing a rubber mallet, get on the hood of the truck in order to start busting out that windshield. Mom then hands the phone to her daughter and tells her to keep recording.  

 

No Injuires

Mom then tells the person in the car to cover their eyes so her husband can hammer that glass. The video ends abruptly as the woman tells her daughter to dial 911.

The driver escaped uninjured.
